Experience

My strategic reading of the radiocommunications market is resolutely forward-looking, rather than based on a backward-looking or nostalgic view of technologies.

Analogue and historical radio systems constitute an essential foundation of understanding, not out of nostalgia, but because they form a continuous body of knowledge without which mission-critical digital architectures and private 4G and 5G networks could not have emerged.

My career illustrates this ability to integrate technological disruptions, anticipate use cases and support industrial transitions towards sustainable, resilient and market-oriented solutions.

2015 – present · Eviden (formerly Atos) – France / international

Presales & Solution Manager – private and tactical 4G and 5G networks

After more than thirty years in narrowband radiocommunication systems, from analogue architectures to mission-critical digital networks, I chose to anticipate the transition towards broadband solutions by joining the startup AIR-LYNX.

AIR-LYNX stood out through a distinctive approach: a founding team originating from the professional PMR radio world, fully aware of the operational constraints of these networks (resilience, prioritisation, Push-to-Talk, service continuity), and capable of transposing them into tactical 4G architectures.

In this context, we notably developed a Push-to-Talk over 4G solution based on the TETRA codec and TETRA functional identifiers (GSSI), ensuring continuity of use between PMR environments and emerging broadband networks.

My role within AIR-LYNX consisted in structuring an indirect distribution model, building strategic partnerships and positioning these solutions in demanding, mission-critical markets. AIR-LYNX was subsequently acquired by Atos, now Eviden.

Within Eviden, I have since held the position of Presales & Solution Manager, covering responses to calls for tender (RFI/RFP), solution design, internal coordination, field demonstrations, account development and the animation of a partner network in France and internationally.

I also operate at the interface with the institutional and regulatory ecosystem, notably through my contributions to professional federations and public consultations.

2008 – 2015 · ETELM / ATIS Réalisation – Villejust (91)

Managing Director, then Sales Director (indirect sales)

I was recruited as Managing Director of ATIS Réalisation in the context of an upcoming merger and acquisition by ETELM. This period was marked by a profound restructuring of activities and commercial models.

Independently of this context, I founded HYT-IS, a French joint-stock company of which I was President. HYT-IS was the first company to import and market in France the PMR equipment of the manufacturer HYT, now known as Hytera.

HYT-IS aimed to distribute PMR equipment through an indirect sales network and contributed to the introduction and structuring of new radio offerings on the French market.

Within ETELM and ATIS Réalisation, I also developed the value proposition around TETRA networks and indoor radio coverage solutions, led and trained technical teams, structured partnerships and responded to numerous tenders in France and for export markets.

2000 – 2008 · EXPRIMM (Bouygues Group) – Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines

Sales Manager – radiocommunications

At EXPRIMM, I contributed to the development of high value-added activities beyond traditional sectors, notably in transport and critical infrastructure.

I took part in structuring national maintenance contracts, establishing commercial and financial agreements, as well as feasibility studies and responses to calls for tender relating to TETRA networks.

1998 – 2000 · NEXUS SA – Palaiseau (91)

Technical Director and co-founder

As co-founder of NEXUS SA, I was responsible for setting up the engineering organisation, recruiting technical teams and supervising subcontracted activities.

I contributed to international tender responses, covering technical, contractual and financial aspects, as well as technical and commercial support for a reseller network.

1991 – 1998 · TAIT Electronics / ETDE (Bouygues Group)

Within TAIT Electronics France, I established the technical structure of the subsidiary, provided team training and managed technical relations with the manufacturer in New Zealand, as well as European coordination.

At ETDE, I served as Senior Technical Manager, conducting studies and designs of radio systems (shared networks, paging), managing suppliers and subcontractors, and working on projects in France and the Middle East.

1983 – 1991 · Storno / Motorola – Antony (92)

I began my career as a radio technician, carrying out repair activities and interventions on radio infrastructures, in France and for export. This period formed the technical foundation of my understanding of radio systems.
