Education and Background

My educational background was built progressively and continuously, alongside my professional activity, following a pragmatic approach focused on the real-world use of radiocommunication systems.

Education

1981 – 1983 · ORT – Electronics
Initial training in electronics, grounded in physical principles, analogue circuits and radio systems.

1985 · Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM)
Further development of scientific and technical fundamentals, within a continuing education framework.

1991 · Micro Wave Links
Specialised training in microwave transmission systems and professional point-to-point radio links.

2009 · TETRA
Advanced training dedicated to mission-critical TETRA digital networks, their architectures, operational constraints and service mechanisms.

This pathway illustrates a consistent approach to skills development through successive layers, integrating technological disruptions while preserving the conceptual foundations required for their understanding.

Languages

English: fluent (international professional environment)
Ancient Greek: reading
Biblical Hebrew: philological reading of texts (no command of modern Hebrew)

Professional and Institutional Engagements

Vice-President of SNIR (later renamed RCPA)
After serving as President and subsequently Vice-President, I was a member of the Board of Directors of SNIR for more than twenty-six years.

In this capacity, I organised and chaired several professional conferences bringing together the entire private radiocommunications ecosystem: manufacturers, integrators, operators, experts and regulators. These events aimed to provide up-to-date regulatory, strategic and technical information, particularly regarding the evolution of private 4G and 5G networks.

ARCEP: Member of the Electronic Communications Advisory Committee (CCCE)
Appointment by ministerial decree dated 25 June 2009 (Ministry of Industry, Finance and Employment – France).

This role led me to operate at the intersection of technical, industrial and regulatory issues, within a framework of consultation and public interest.

Publications, Interests and Activities

Biblical studies: philological and hermeneutical approach.
Publications: author of several educational articles.
Association: member of Friends of Shalom Achav.

Analogue electronics and audio
Designer of high-end audio systems, I have designed and built numerous valve amplifiers, following a rigorous approach to analogue electronics.

YouTube channel – Analogue electronics
I run a YouTube channel dedicated to analogue electronics and valve technologies, with content aimed at audiences ranging from experienced technicians to early-year engineering students.

A central feature of this channel is its epistemological approach: beyond explaining how circuits operate, I explore the reasons behind their design choices, retracing, whenever possible, the reasoning of the original engineers and designers.
